This is silky smooth with racy red and blue fruit that glide along with saline mineral notes and a hints of leather, balsamic and earth. There is dramatic length and potency at the finish thanks to a bed of fine-grained tannins. What a beautiful wine.

This Vino Nobile bottling is one of the last traditional wines made in the town of Montepulciano. Winemaker Dora Forsoni learned how to make wine from her father staring in 1968 and has not changed her methods since then. Everything is done by hand.  The vineyards are organically farmed, harvest is done by hand and fermentation is done with native yeasts. The Vino Nobile spends two years in large casks prior to bottling.
