DOMAINE EDEN PINOT NOIR 2019

Traditional, elegant Pinot Noir from vineyards high in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Delicate red pinot fruit gives way to complexity and building tannins that soften with air.  Wonderful balance and structure here that are hallmarks of the Mount Eden wines.

95 POINTS, Wine Enthusiast. "While this wine’s Mount Eden sister bottling may better stand the test of time, the Domaine Eden Pinot Noir is what most people will most like to drink right now, and it’s cheaper too. Aromas of dried violets, uncrushed boysenberries and pencil lead make for an ethereal nose that seems to hold secrets one must uncover. Precise tannins on the palate offer floral yet savory flavors of black sesame, nori, violet and mulberry. It’s mellow yet mysterious."

93 POINTS, Robert Parker. "A fabulous introduction to the Domaine Eden Pinot Noir is flat-out beautiful in the way it captures the essence of the Santa Cruz Mountains

This Pinot Noir is a mosaic of different selections and clones grown at Domaine Eden: Dijon clones 777, 667 and 828 reside alongside the historic California selections Mount Eden, Calera and Swan. Each parcel is farmed to Mount Eden’s strict standards of sustainability, dry farming and low yields. -- winemaker notes.
