DELILLE CELLARS D2 2022

This is a fantastic Bordeaux Blend from Washington State. Mocha and milk chocolate notes from French oak integrate with beautiful cassis, dried cranberry, and cedar. Soft and delicious at first, however it rapidly builds in intensity of fruit mid-palate, offering remarkable length on the finish.

D2 is sourced from over a dozen Columbia Valley Vineyards, including Red Willow, Harrison Hill, Ciel du Cheval, Klipsun, Boushey, DuBrul, Upchurch and Grand Ciel.

92 POINTS, Vinous. "The 2022 D2 slowly emerges from the glass with blackberry, sweet sage, chalk dust and dried flowers. This is a soft-textured and pliant effort, with soothing roundness and mineral-inflected wild berry tones lifted by cooling acidity. Dusty tannins linger as through the long finale."
