Just released, the 2023 DAOU Cabernet Sauvignon is a powerful, complex and layered wine with heady aromas of black plum, currant, and sage melded with accents of vanilla, saddle leather and cinnamon toast. On the palate, rich flavors of black cherry, raspberry and mulberry dominate, while notes of sandalwood and dark chocolate are evident. A velvety texture finishes with lingering impressions of chocolate-covered cherry, dried herbs and some toasty oak.
