This is a traditionally made Saint-Joseph that showcases the pure expression of Syrah from the Northern Rhone. The fruit comes from a single parcel, set apart from the rest of the appellation's vineyards. Faury uses only old (neutral) wood, allowing the granite soil of the region to have a clear voice. This wine is brimming with deep, dark flavors of blackberry, black olive and a hint of cracked white pepper and it is delicious right now!
