LE MESNIL CHAMPAGNE BLANC DE BLANCS GRAND CRU NV

Le Mesnil is 100% Chardonnay from Grand Cru vineyards on the chalk soils of the Cotes de Blancs. The Champagne takes its name from the town 'Le Mesnil-sur-Oger', which is south of Epernay and one of only 17 Villages in the Champagne region with the right to the designation 'Grand Cru'. 

On the pour, this Champagne demonstrates an excellent white frothy mousse, showing good hold. Aromatically, this wine delivers a classic Champagne sniff. Yeasty, baked bread notes are followed by some brioche and a hint of citrus. The palate is surprisingly full and rich with mouth filling flavors of baked bread and biscuit. There's a slightly creamy texture and excellent length on the finish.
