DOMAINE LARUE SAINT AUBIN 1ER CRU SOUS ROCHE DUMAY 2024

12 Current Inventory

If you are looking for an authentic bottle of old-school Burgundy, I urge you to snag some of this fabulous Domaine Larue!

Domaine Larue's Sous Roche Dumay is Premier Cru classified from a high-elevation vineyard in Saint-Aubin, planted on the western side of the appellation. The vines average 50 years of age and are planted in soils composed of 90% limestone with a small amount of clay. The site is fully exposed, and the combination of old vines, elevation, and predominantly limestone soils gives the wine an especially mineral-driven character and impressive structural depth.

Sous Roche Dumay shows ripe citrus, white flowers, flint, and subtle notes of richness. The palate is broad and textured but carried by bright acidity, with a firm mineral backbone and a long, stony finish. There is plenty of depth here, but the wine remains focused and energetic, with plenty of structure and concentration.
