100% unoaked Chardonnay from the Cote Chalonnaise region in far southern Burgundy. This is a textural wine — a real-deal ‘white Burgundy’ at an incredibly affordable price. Medium-bodied on the palate and mixing bright fruit with a stony component, it is expressive and textured due to some stirring of the lees, while also lively and refreshing thanks to the fossilized oyster-shell infused soils.
