COSTERS DEL PRIORAT PISSARRES 2019

The unique soil of the Priorat region is what makes this wine so special.  The fruit, which is a blend of Garnacha and Samso, comes from steep, terraced vineyards where the soil is made from decomposed slate.  The result is a wine that is rich with intense flavors of red and purple fruit that also has good structure and tannins that become more noticeable during the finish.  The wine is fermented in tank and then aged in barrel before release.
