This Vino Nobile bottling is one of the last traditional wines made in the town of Montepulciano. Winemaker Dora Forsoni learned how to make wine from her father staring in 1968 and has not changed her methods since then.

Everything is done by hand.  The vineyards are organically farmed, harvest is done by hand and fermentation is done with native yeasts. The Vino Nobile spends two years in large casks prior to bottling.  Dora's 2020 Vino Nobile is sultry and alluring with dark red fruit and violets on the nose. The palate is full and ripe, with slightly chewy tannins and plenty of acidity to keep things lively. This is an exceptional wine -- do not miss!
