Jean-Marie is the latest of 10 generations of the Bouzereau family to grow grapes.  Needless to say, this domaine is rich with tradition.  Fermentation is done with indigenous yeasts, in barrel as well as malolactic fermentation. Aging is typically one year in wood, on the lees, utilizing 20-30% new oak. Vanilla aromas with touches of brioche give way to a roundness on the palate with notes of toasted hazelnuts and acacia honey balanced with bright acidity.
