JEAN-MARC PILLOT CHASSAGNE-MONTRACHET 1ER CRU LES VERGERS 2018

The 2018 vintage from this famed Premier Cru vineyard is dazzling. The vines from the half a hectare were planted in the late 1940's.  A textbook demonstration of power without weight, this wine offers limestone-driven nobility, richness and clarity of fruit packaged in an ultra-long, saline finish.

A natural winemaking approach is followed with minimal intervention.  Native / natural yeasts are used and fermentation is spontaneous.  The wine is unfiltered and estate bottled.  Practicing organic farming.
