Located within the southernmost point of the Cote D'Or, the wines of Montagny are often overlooked in favor of the famous villages. This is a mistake as these wines are beautiful and often a fraction of the price of wines from other villages. This Premier Cru bottling is a perfect example. The wine offers aromas of lemon drop and fresh herbs. Juicy on entry, then supple and easygoing in the middle palate, with moderately complex apple and pear flavors supported by stony minerality. Finishes with good length.
