ENRICO SERAFINO ALTA LANGA BRUT OUDEIS ROSE SPARKLING 2018

This wine has WOW factor.  When you visit a Barolo producer in Piedmont, you don't expect to come away raving about their sparkling wines, but that's exactly what happened.  A rose' of Pinot Noir that spends several years (yes years) in barrel creates a beautiful sparkling wine with tons of character.  This dry wine has strawberry notes followed by toasted almond and hints of Brioche.  There is a level of precision here that is unexpected and downright impressive and at a more modest price than virtually all Champagne!
