There is no better price to quality ratio wine than this hedonistic red from Jean-Marc Lafage.  Don't miss this knockout from southern France!

95 POINTS, Jeb Dunnuck. "Based on 74% Syrah and 26% Grenache, the 2018 Cotes Du Roussillon Bastide Miraflors is a knockout bottle of wine. It offers loads of black fruits, roasted herbs, peppered meat, violets, and bacon fat as well as full-bodied richness, a round, opulent style, ripe tannins, and a blockbuster finish."

A custom cuve for European Cellars and a joint project between Eric Solomon and Jean-Marc Lafage, Bastide Miraflors is a cuve created from old vine Grenache grown on black schist near Maury and Syrah from gravelly soils near the Mediterranean. After a long maceration of six weeks the wine ages for 12 months in concrete (Grenache) and 600L French oak demi-muids (Syrah).
