A fine villages Pommard with older vines up to 50 years of age.  The fruit is from the lieu-dit of La Chanière, in the northwestern part of Pommard.  Deep ruby color. The nose reveals notes of black fruit and spice aromas, backed up by sous bois (earth and undergrowth. The wine effortlessly combines the strength of Pommard, with the elegance of Beaune. It is a more full-bodied and consistent wine, while Pinot acidity ensures balance & freshness.
