From high elevation vineyards in the Santa Cruz Mountains.  Domaine Eden is the second label to the famed Mount Eden Estate Chardonnay.  A majority of the fruit here is declassified Estate Vineyard fruit, mostly from younger vines.  Balance is the key to this superb wine that is built to last and just starting to drink well.

92 POINTS, The Wine Enthusiast. "Grapefruit rind, yogurt and warm pear show on the nose of this bottling. There is great acidity on the sip, with a mango cream and tropical fruit touch, but those elements coalesce into a rich, roasted-almond-driven palate as the wine breathes."
90 POINTS, Wine Spectator. "Spicy, toasty oak adds a rich dimension to a core of citrus, apple, melon and pear flavors, staying on point, with a mix of wood and fruit."
