The Corvidae Rook was made to showcase the world-class Merlot grown in the cooler, higher elevation sites located in the Columbia Valley. The wine was aged in mostly neutral French oak to keep the bright fruit flavors lively. Showing red and black fruits, sarsaparilla, orange peel, cinnamon and tobacco, this crisply textured red is balanced by fine grained tannins and a rich, soft mid-palate.
Full bodied Washington State Cabernet from Walla Walla, yet remains well balanced with a beautiful bright acidity. Loads of dark fruits, Asian spice and dusty cedar remain on the long lasting finish.
