The vines sit on a thin clay-limestone soil infused with red marl. The Bois Roussot offers a firm wine with lots of black cherry fruit and density along with a strong mineral finish. This is a classic red Burgundy that captures the exceptional combination of black and red fruits that mark the best wines of Ladoix.
