BITOUZET- PRIEUR MEURSAULT CLOS DU CROMIN 2017

2 Current Inventory

This vineyard holding sits in the northern section of the village of Meursault, high on the slope. This small 0.37 hectare parcel was planted in 1951. The soil has a high natural acidity, thus harvest usually occurs late. The resulting wine has excellent penetration on the palate and is normally dominated by its firm minerality which brings vigor and complexity. It is a round, well-balanced wine with a long finish and a hint of pear skin to the fruit. Two barrels are dedicated to the US market.
