This Malbec comes from 80+ year old vines growing on two separate vineyards in the Uco Valley. A nose of rich, macerated black cherries is intense and leads to a palate of big juicy fruit, but with surprising freshness as well. Subtle savory tones and a hint of graphite round things out. Given the wine's heft and ageing in French oak, it is not at all shy, and yet maintains a a real sense of balance.

91 POINTS, Robert Parker's The Wine Advocate. "Showing the higher ripeness of the year, the 2015 Malbec is heady and has black fruit aromas and a round, lush texture, with balance, integrated oak and a polished, sleek palate."
